Zeejprint has become the first printing press in Gulf to complete readiness for ISO 12647-2 Certification, world’s leading Process Colour Standards for Offset. This certification would enable Zeejprint to rigorously measure, manage and report its colour management process and overall print quality to customers.
Zeejprint, a market leader in digital print production in the region, recently established its first offset printing facility, Riyadh. Deploying the latest technologies, it can now deliver offset quality prints at unprecedented speed. Same day delivery of offset print services is now available for the first time in the region. Combined with a state-of-the-art web-to-print platform Zeejprint is clearly ahead of the game as the region’s only online print company.
The certification has been awarded by Franz Brandi and Prof. Florian SuBi for Virona GmbH, a global leader in conformity assessment and certification services. Virona confirmed that the production workflow of prepress and print was evaluated according to the parameters of the international printing standard ISO 12647-2 and the methods, aim values and tolerances of the BVDM Media-Standard Print 2018.
Prepress and staff were trained to match the standard requirements using control means such as colour strips, spectrophotometers, and quality assurance software. Prepress and press staff are well prepared for the certification audit according to the regulations of the Virona Print Quality Assurance.
Abdulaziz Alomran, CEO, Zeejprint, on this achievement said, “We are extremely pleased to receive the certification. It not only endorses our position in the region, but also our commitment towards quality, speed and efficiency. We deploy tech start-up mentality to shake-up our print industry.”
Ibrahim Abdulqadir, Factory manager said, “Zeejprint is committed to continuously benchmark and enhance its prepress to post-press process including colour management. The processes and practices that have been established or improved through this certification helped us a lot in short-run jobs.”
