Xerox organized a “ConnectKey” event in Movenpick Hotel in Gouna. The event was held from 24 to 26 October 2013 and was sponsored by Mantrac, one of Xerox main distributors. The event was also sponsored by Microsoft, Raya and Al Ola Modern Systems. The conference was attended by more than 180 people including Xerox customers, partners and distributors. Xerox ConnectKey technology, is a software ecosystem that provides the building blocks to leverage your multifunction printer to simplify the way work gets done.
Xerox also took advantage of the opportunity to announce its cooperation agreement with Microsoft in the area of cloud computing.
In his opening speech Hazem al – Husseini, CPO general manager of Xerox Egypt welcomed attendees and highlighted the major features of ConnectKey.
A number of presentations on different topics such as understanding the customer’s requirements and the leadership were included in the programme.
Followed by Husseini, representatives of Microsoft Egypt, Mohammed Hawari and Khalid Al Yahya briefed audience about Microsofts’ flagship product, Office 365.
Also during a live demonstration Microsoft representatives using ConnectKeys showed how documents can be scanned directly to cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365 for storage and collaboration.
