World Premier- Koenig and Bauer Launches New Cut Pro X 106 Rotary Diecutting System

During live online presentation Koenig and Bauer launched fastest rotary diecutting system in the market. The all new kit called Cut Pro X 106 boasts an impressive output speed of 15000 sheets per hour.  The new Cut Pro X uses Rapida 106 feeder which features stepless pile height, multi camera chamber and nonstop logistic systems. A new embossing tower is able to emboss with a speed of 15000 sph, which according to the German manufacturer is 3 times faster than fastest flatbed diecutters in the market. The unit includes two magnetic cylinders. Male and female clichés are mounted on these cylinders. The registration tolerance of the unit is less than 15 microns, which again according to the Koenig and Bauer is the lowest in the market.  Creasing is done in the second unit, using two magnetic cylinders. The creasing plate is mounted on upper cylinder which pushes onto the counter creasing plate on the lower cylinder. The unit can perform negative and positive creasing in one step. Next stop is die cutting unit which uses flexible dies(plates) with register pin system also dubbed as click to cut. Stripping is done in the last unit which also works on male and female system and poly spot plates. These plates are also used in coating units. The male pushes the waste inside the female plate.

After stripping, sheets move to blanking unit which Koenig and Bauer spent lots of time and money to develop and then straight to stacking section.

The German manufacturer also showcased its new flatbed diecutter, Cut Pro Q 106 with nonstop blanking system and a range of other new or enhanced features such as optical system to correct the alignment of the sheets. The set up time in the new machine is almost zero. Last but not list Koenig and Bauer introduced its revamped folder gluer Allpro 106 from its Omega range of folder gluers which also includes Intro, Alius and Magnus.
