Turkey: Eurasia Packaging Fair To Be Held In October

Eurasia Packaging Fair, empowered by REED Tüyap Fairs Inc. and Packaging Manufacturers Association of Turkey (ASD), as well as other organizations active in the sector including Packaging Machinery Association (AMD), Labeling Industrialists Association (ESD), Cardboard Packaging Industrialists Association (KASAD), Metal Packaging Industrialists Association (MASD), Corrugated Cardboard Industrialists Association (OMÜD) and Rigid Plastic Packaging Industrialists Association (SEPA) will take place at the Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul, on October 22 – 25, 2015.. Bringing together over 1200 exhibitors from 41 countries and more than 50,000 qualified visitors from93 countries, Eurasia Packaging Fair provides an opportunity to develop new business relationships and to strengthen existing partnerships. At Printpack, a special section in Eurasia Packaging Fair 2015, the latest trends in the printing industry and printing technologies will be showcased.  the special Section of Printing Technologies which is a brand new project for 2015 is taking firm steps in being the crossroads of packaging sector and all other industries it serves by showcasing printing machinery and technologies, printing inks, printing blocks, blocks and printing platens, coating, lamination and product systems, print preparation technologies, editing and correction equipment, label printing machinery, paper and film producers and RFID systems and technologies.

Visitors of the Printpack Special Section will be producers of wooden, glass, plastic, metal, flexible, paper, cardboard and corrugated cardboard; printing houses, label producers, stationery sector, food and drink industries, pharmaceutical industry, suppliers of printing and production technologies; advertisers and agencies.

Turkey’s packaging production reached 6, 9 Billion Tons in 2013. With the growth of the packaging sector in Turkey, importance of printing technologies in the packaging industry keeps rising.

In 2013, packaging consumption in Turkey was USD 210, and target for 2023 is USD 300.
