It shows historical developments and comparisons between countries. It provides general information on the profile of the European graphic industry, as well as data on the production of printed products and trade with key international trade partners. Plus, it gives highlights about the economic development of sectors which are relevant to the graphic industry – including paper, ink, press, energy, and postal markets. The Report features the contributions of Intergraf members on national market developments as well as the contribution from our partner research institute Smithers with forecasts to 2027.
The European graphical sector is made up of some 112,000 printing companies (95% SMEs), which employ 640,000 people, and generate a combined turnover of €82 billion (EU27 + UK, Switzerland, and Norway).
