At this year’s FESPA Global Expo to be held in between 18 and 22 May in Cologne, Germany Sun Chemical will show the latest additions to its Streamline range of alternative inkjet inks.
Designed for wide and superwide format printers including Epson, Vutek, Roland, Mutoh, Mimaki and Seiko, Sun Chemical’s Streamline range of printer compatible solutions are formulated to have matching colour and physical properties to those of OEM inks.
The new additions to the Streamline range include: Streamline Ultima HPQ LO, Streamline SGX, Streamline TX and Streamline TBJ.
Streamline Ultima HPQ LO is an upgrade of the existing Ultima HPQ product, now benefitting from Sun Chemical’s innovative low odour chemistry. The ink is designed for Mimaki eco solvent printers.
Also new this year are Streamline SGX eco solvent inks. The series has been designed specifically to work with the high performance thin film piezo print heads for the new Epson SureColor 70600 printer. The series also benefits from Sun Chemical’s low odour chemistry.
Streamline TBJ demonstrates Sun Chemical’s commitment to the superwide format solvent print market. The product is formulated for the HP Turbojet, offering printers significantly reduced energy consumption through improved drying performance. Streamline TBJ also offers improved overall ink consumption and reduced overspray which removes the need for cleaning between print jobs.
Sun Chemical’s first range for the digital textile market, Streamline TX, will also be highlighted at FESPA 2015. Introduced last year at FESPA Digital 2014, Streamline TX is an aqueous based CMYK dye sublimation ink for the soft signage market. The ink offers a vivid colour gamut combined with high density black colour for direct printed polyester textiles.
