Switzerland-based leading provider of aseptic packaging solutions SIG has announced the launch of its latest packaging machines targeting F&B leaders and startups in the UAE.
SIG’s SmileSmall 24 Aseptic and Cleanpouch 25 Aseptic pouch fillers, now available at the first-of-its-kind innovation Technology Centre in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), provide F&B innovators with different features and capabilities to test products and scale up innovation, enhancing speed of performance, and achieving flexibility in terms of production quantities, as well as the unique ability of SIG’s new and proven drinkplus technology.
The centre provides new opportunities for the F&B sector through innovative technologies, including the SIGCUBATOR accelerator programme, an integrated solution that accelerates the arrival of new product ideas to the market and provides support to customers and F&B startups looking to launch their next products.
The SIG SmileSmall 24 Aseptic filling machine, capable of filling 24,000 cartons per hour, with volumes ranging from 180ml. to 250ml., primarily covers the premium product segment. Flexible spout containers suit a range of different applications, including concentrate containers for refilling solid bottles, and squeezable containers for easy on-the-go use.
