The seventh edition of the Sheikh Zayed Book Fair in Egypt kicked off yesterday, April 1. The exhibition runs until April 12 at Entrance 2 in Sheikh Zayed City. The exhibition includes many artistic and cultural events and activities for children.
The exhibition is being held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Inès Abdel Daïm, Minister of Culture, the Egyptian Publishers Union, Dr. Asim Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing and Urban Communities, and Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, and is organized by the Zayed Foundation for Creativity and Development.
“The exhibition includes more than 100 publishing houses which display their products on an area of 5,000 meters, and all precautionary measures to battle the global pandemic will be strictly implemented in all activities of the exhibition,” said Director of the exhibition, Mahmoud Abdel-Nabi and added, “Crème de la crème of Egyptian publishers including Dar El Shorouk, Egypt’s Renaissance, Egyptian Lebanese House for Publishing and Distribution, Don, Sama, Tashkeel and others are participating in the event.”
