The 25th edition of the annually-held SGI Dubai, the largest international expo for the printing, signage, and graphic imaging industries in the MENA region, will be held as a live in-person B2B show at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 19 to 21 September, 2022.
SGI Dubai 2022 will feature a variety of industries including its flagship large-format printers, besides digital display, labelling, textile printing, paper and printing, precision cutting engraving, multi-function printers (MFPs), LED, screen printing, spare parts and consumables, and retail. The success story of the mega event is seen by the introduction of cutting-edge industries with new and emerging technologies such as robotics, 3D printing, and artificial intelligence (AI). Products and solutions embedded with AI, flexible displays, haptic touch screens, and holographic displays will all provide users a truly immersive experience.
Besides ‘E3 Talks’, a series of panel discussions conducted by industry experts, the ‘Wall of Fame’ will pit exhibitors for some friendly and creative competition, this time through live car-wrapping demonstrations.
With the industry shifting gears at a healthy pace and the MENA region emerging as a huge market, this year’s event provides ample opportunities for the over 300 participating global, regional, and local exhibitors who will come face-to-face with the largest gathering of industry stakeholders from across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. SGI Dubai provides a vibrant platform for meeting and connecting with industry leaders and decision makers, meeting up existing clients, identifying distributors and partners, evaluating market trends, connecting with investors, reaching out to international markets, launching new products, witnessing innovation and live demos first-hand, gaining industry insight through panel discussions, and securing spot orders.
Sharif Rahman, CEO of International Expo-Consults (IEC), the Dubai-based organisers of the event, says, “The show has served as a seamless ecosystem of brands and ideas. Each year we have global brands showcasing their latest technologies that have shaped the printing, sign, and graphic imaging industries in the MENA region. As in the past, this year’s show will be a meeting point for industry stakeholders from around the world.”
“SGI Dubai has been guiding the industry for the past quarter century and the interesting fact is that there are exhibitors who have been with us since inception and have benefitted immensely by just being present at the show,” adds Rahman.
