Royal Image LLC based in UAE invested in a new HP Flatbed FB500 recently. The installation will serve the company’s objective to service the outdoor and indoor advertising industry in UAE. The machine comes as an addition to the company’s list of advanced digital printing and imaging solutions, which also includes a HP LX850 that was installed earlier this year.
The HP FB500 is a 64-inch, UV-curable printing solution that enables digital and screen printers, converters and large repro houses to meet their rigid-printing capabilities in-house. It addresses a wide range of applications, including point-of-purchase displays, exhibition graphics, interior décor, directional signage and 3D displays. The FB500 offers a variety of applications and include matte/gloss, full bleeds and double-sided prints, a feature that was particularly liked by Royal Image LLC.
Bassam Daoud, Managing Director at Royal Image LLC, explained their reason to invest in an HP machine. “We were impressed by its versatility and for the reliable quality it offers. The machine prints at 1200 x 600 dpi resolution and complements our line of business and helps us to offer a variety of services under one roof.”
He added, “We faced various bottlenecks with other printing machines in terms of productivity and the substrates used. The HP FB500 is a perfect addition to our line of service and is capable of loading, printing and collecting up to four sheets of media simultaneously, while printing at a speed of up to 398 ft/hr.
With the latest addition, Royal Image opines that it can offer eco-friendly prints and satisfy the needs of its eco-friendly customers. The machine was installed at Royal Image by Dynagraph.
