Rixos The Palm Dubai, a hotel brand, has entered into an MPS deal with Canon Emirates as part of their strategy to ensure complete management and efficient maintenance of their portfolio of printing solutions.
The four year contract is expected to yield strong results amounting to an average of 25% monthly cost saving benefits in their over-all print related expenditure, in addition to increased service quality and efficiency of print fleet management.

MPS is also instrumental in achieving operational efficiency, meet compliance targets and reduce the organisation’s carbon footprint. “The Canon MPS deal has enabled Rixos The Palm Dubai to easily manage and monitor their printing fleet from a single platform powered with customizable features including increased cutting-edge secured printing options. Through the deal the hotel now enjoys the benefits of utilizing a dedicated certified Canon Technical Service team for Managed Printing Services with a strong Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and response time,” added Bakhour.
Rixos The Palm Dubai required a highly cost effective and innovative print solution that can increase the efficiency of their printing fleet and also introduce superior facilities for guests including high quality guest printing, mobile printing and web-based Google cloud prints.
“Prior to Canon’s MPS deal we had a contract with a different vendor for printing fleet and maintenance for which we were actually pretty satisfied. However, after seeing Canon’s approach which gives us a 25% of monthly cost savings straight away, we were convinced it was time to switch over to Canon. Analysing the current and future requirements with Canon’s ITIL methodology and incorporating a value for money solution were also key competitive advantages for us to strongly consider Canon for this deal,” said George Francis, IT Manager, Rixos The Palm Dubai.
Rixos the Palm Dubai, situated on the Palm Island’s East Crescent, is the first property of Turkish Giants, Rixos Hotels, to open in the Middle East.
