Pharmapack Europe, the continent’s leading event for pharmaceutical device and packaging innovation, contract packaging, large volume drug delivery, and sustainability has announced the finalists for the prestigious Pharmapack Awards 2025. Winners will be disclosed at an exclusive ceremony hosted in the evening on the inaugural day of Pharmapack Europe 2025 to be held in Paris on 22-23 January, 2025.
The Pharmapack Awards recognises excellence in packaging and drug delivery solutions from pharmaceutical, veterinary, biopharma, and OEM companies, looking for recently commercialised concepts which demonstrate true innovation in materials, design, technologies, or solutions.
The annual awards celebrates the teams, individuals, and companies whose products and solutions enable purposeful change within the industry. The 2025 event will have close to 400 exhibitors and will be attended by around 5,700 industry professionals.
Significant changes have been made to the awards format, unveiling an approach that acknowledges excellence across both commercialised products and cutting-edge innovations shaping the future of pharma packaging. The awards will honour excellence spanning eight categories including Drug Delivery Innovation, Packaging Innovation, Start-up Innovation, Eco-design, Patient-centric Design, Future Leader, Woman of the Year, and Packaging Company of the Year.
New Award Categories for 2025
Future Leader, Woman of the Year, and Packaging Company of the Year are the three new categories added to the 2025 awards list.
The Future Leader award seeks to recognise the rising stars, the pharma leaders of the future, bringing a fresh approach to the industry.
The Woman for the Year award category has been added to honour exceptional contributions from women shaping the future of pharmaceutical packaging. The award salutes women leaders in pharma packaging who seek to inspire and uplift colleagues and peers, are committed to supporting diversity, and act as an advocate for progression and change in the sector.
Finally, the Packaging Company of the Year award is to reward market leaders in pharmaceutical packaging, celebrating organisations which can demonstrate growth, innovation, positive impact, and prioritise the needs of patients, partners, and employees.
