NDigitec Opens New Headquarters in Dubai Production City

NDigitec has opened the doors of its first large-scale headquarters and factory in Dubai Production City, as part of a two-stage construction project, following the rapid expansion of the company in the UAE. The president of Nesma Holding, Faisal Saleh Alturki, and Managing Director of Media Clusters of TECOM, Majed Al Suwaidi, inaugurated the facility. With their help, the new headquarters is now ready to welcome its employees, partners, and clients. During the opening ceremony, the co-founder & CEO of NDigitec, Vatche Kavlakian, presented the new facility to the guests and shared the company’s vision for the upcoming years.

After the tour, he granted special awards to those who have been crucial to in the decades-long success of the company. The opening of the state-of-the-art facility has marked an important milestone in the company’s history. As part of its expansion, NDigitec will not only embark on new projects but also create dozens of new jobs within the next three years.

He said, “We have achieved incredible growth since we established our presence in Dubai Production City, and our headcount has increased from five to more than 100 people during this time”. He continued, “This non-stop growth gave us the confidence to launch our expansion strategy and build the region’s largest single-site pre-press factory and digital printing facility to accommodate our growing team, increase our market share, and prepare us for the future as we embrace artificial intelligence, augmented reality, machine learning, and big data analytics. ”

In 2016, NDigitec acquired a 110,000 sq.ft, plot of industrial land to build its new facility. The intention was to bring all five of its divisions / competencies – Prepress, Premedia, Digiprint, Fabrication, and Dubaiprint.com – under one roof. NDigitec’s new headquarters includes more than 50,000 sq.ft of built-up area, comprising office spaces, a mezzanine, and a production area equipped with the latest industry’s technology.

The second phase of its expansion will see the addition of 30,000 sq.ft of a built-up area that will provide additional services and capabilities for further vertical and horizontal expansions. Majed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director of Dubai Production City, added: “Dubai is an international business hub that has attracted thousands of media professionals from around the world to the UAE, and the expansion of our business partner NDigitec highlights the private sector’s confidence in Dubai’s ever-changing media landscape.”

Acknowledging the innovative potential of NDigitec, he continued, “The cutting-edge printing complex built in Dubai Production City is an exciting addition to our business community of more than 255 companies & 6,000 people.” The new headquarters will allow NDigitec to tackle new, even more ambitious projects, creating more opportunities, and elevating the quality of production in Dubai.
