Morocco SIEMA FoodExpo 2025 to Highlight Growing Market

The 8th edition of Morocco SIEMA FoodExpo, the international food processing, packaging, and machinery exhibition will be held at OFEC in Casablanca, Morocco, from 9-11 September, 2025.

Suer Ay, owner of ELAN EXPO – the event organiser – explains the reason for their successful shows in the North African nation: “Morocco SIEMA FoodExpo is one of our food processing, packaging, and machinery exhibitions in the international market. We are growing annually in the Moroccan market; we are enlarging our international exhibitor scope compared to our previous editions in Morocco.”

Speaking about the 2024 edition, Ay adds, “The 7th edition of Morocco SIEMA FoodExpo has successfully concluded with encouraging feedback from our exhibitors. This prestigious event created a significant platform in the food industry, offering unique opportunities to sector professionals. The expo had a wide range of products on display including food and food processing technology, agricultural machinery and equipment, packaging technology, and transport and logistics. ”

Morocco’s Profitable Food Processing & Packaging Markets

Morocco is one of the most profitable markets for the food processing, packaging, and machinery industries in Africa with its strategic location, annual growth rate, and its dependency on the international food market. Morocco is located in close proximity with Europe, with Spain less being 15 kilometres away.

The North African nation with a population of approximately 37 million people is the sixth largest economy in the MENA region, with a GDP of nearly $150 billion in 2024.

Morocco, though famous for producing wheat, sugar beets, oranges, potatoes, tomatoes, olives, olive oil, fish, and many other products is heavily dependent on foreign machinery for modernising their product lines and packaging technology. Being a multilingual country, with a stable political structure, free trade agreements with several nations, and dependency on international markets have made global players vie for the local Moroccan market in recent years.

Opening Hours: 10 am – 7 pm (all days).
