EGYGRAFX GULF, the UAE subsidiary of Egygrafx Group from Cairo, Egypt had introduced a new 3.2m UV LED printing technology in the region last year, dubbed as LDP Printer.
Masar Print and Publishing recently bought the first LDP printer in the region. H.H. Sheikh Mohamed initiated a specific and distinctive project last year to print special edition copies of Quran. The machine has been purchased to print the cover of the Quran on leather with embossed effect. This special edition will be distributed among VIP’s in the GCC region.
LDP, is a UV LED roll-to-roll (with flatbed option) printer which allows to print special applications.
It allows printing layers of ink on top of each other instantly. Applications like embossing and debossing, dual images for day and night, instant mirror effect printing, varnish printing, glossy and matt finishing, white printing, printing on colored media and many more can be executed through this new machine. Lintor Technologies from Taiwan developed this machine and it is promoted in the Gulf region by EGYGRAFX GULF.
LDP Printer has 16 Ricoh GEN5 print heads. It can print on any soft media like frontlit banner, backlit flex, vinyl, paper, clear film, leather, canvas, wall paper. It can also print on light rigid media like corrugated sheets, forex, acrylic, wood, aluminum and carton. LDP Printer is an ideal 3 in 1 printer used for outdoor printing, indoor printing and special application printing. It also has white color and varnish color ink.
