Informa Exhibitions today announces that Komori Corporation will participate in Ipex 2014 as Sponsor of the Eco Zone. Part of the event’s rich educational content and features programme, the Eco Zone will educate visitors on the ecological and business-related advantages of reducing their environmental impact.
In addition to demonstrating the economic benefits and eco-friendly performance of its H-UV System on a 5-Colour 40” press with coater and dryer, Komori will also host regular presentations on recent legislation that requires blue-chip businesses to report their carbon footprint, and will look at how this will impact print service providers.
Neil Sutton, Managing Director of Komori UK, comments: “We were approached by the Ipex 2014 Management team to discuss our H-UV printing technology and showcasing it in the the Ipex Eco Zone, so Komori have taken the decision to sponsor this feature. This will be an excellent platform for Komori to continue to build on its market leading position for the supply of low emission, eco-friendly and innovative H-UV printing.”
“We are delighted that Komori made the decision to participate in Ipex, and are confident that commercial printers from around the world will benefit significantly from their offset technology and eco-expertise,” comments Wayne Beckett, Sales Director of Ipex 2014. “As the role of print continues to evolve in the multi-channel marketing communications mix, it is important to dispel any misperceptions in the industry about its environmental impact. Komori has a brilliant green story to tell, and their participation in the Eco Zone will allow them to do this at Ipex 2014.”
