Kodak ME Appoints New Marketing Manager

The former Technical Editor of the Middle East and Africa edition of PrintWeek, Pratik Sardesai, has joined the ranks of Kodak’s marketing department. In his role as Marketing Manager Middle East and Africa (MEAF), Sardesai will be responsible for increasing visibility of the Kodak brand in the region.

Sardesai is a qualified engineer with a specialization in printing technologies and a strong background in print editorial.

Prior to PrintWeek, Sardesai was Marketing Manager at Vista Um International, in Mozambique, where he helped develop new business lines and targeted Africa’s largest paper traders. Before this he worked as a Technical Executive for FujiFilm Sericol International, in India, where he ran product demonstrations across the country.

Sardesai comments on his new role: “I cannot wait to get started. At my time at PrintWeek, I saw all the latest innovations hitting the market, and Kodak consistently proved itself to be a company at the vanguard of print technology. I am looking forward to communicating to print houses in the MEAF region how Kodak technology can help them grow their business, despite the difficult economic climate.”

Komal Sharma, MD and VP Sales for Kodak in the MEAF region, comments: “Pratik’s arrival is a major boost to the marketing team. Having worked as Technical Editor at PrintWeek, he knows the MEAF print industry. His industry knowledge will be of great benefit when helping local print service providers to find what they’re looking for in their suppliers. He will help us communicate even more effectively with print houses in the region.”
