Hotpack Packaging Industries, producer and wholesaler of disposable food packaging materials in the UAE, has opened its latest integrated manufacturing and logistics complex at Dubai Investments Park in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The Dubai based Hotpack Packaging Industries, which is part of Majid Plastics Group has an annual turnover of AED 500 million and is looking for further expansion in the Middle East and African region. The 350,000 square feet facility is built on an investment of over AED 100 million and is said to have cutting edge technology for competent production, storage and logistics operations.
The DIP facility was inaugurated by M.A. Yusuff Ali, Managing Director of Lulu Group International and Director Board Member – Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the presence of Omar Al Mesmar, General Manager – DIP, Abdul Jabbar P.B, Managing Director – Hotpack Packaging Industries, Zainudheen PB, Group General Manager –Hotpack, ShyamPrakash, Group BDM-Hotpack and other senior executives.
Commenting on the launch of the facility, Abdul Jabbar, Managing Director at Hotpack said, “We are happy to announce the official launch of our new integrated Factory and Logistics Complex, a one of its kind industrial infrastructure in the region, which has been developed at DIP. We hope the facility will help us continue and enhance the delivery of the best quality standards on time in our core business of food packaging solutions to our customers in a larger scale.”
“The new integrated facility, certified by ISO and ESMA, will be manufacturing several varieties of plastic, paper and aluminium products to cater to the food service industry, while complying with the highest global standards of quality and hygiene as well as abiding by the recommendations for sustainable practice. Our mission is to become No.1 in the field of disposable food packaging and related products in the continent,” he added.
“The Group operates four factories in the UAE and one in India, in addition to 15 own distribution centres across the GCC. Hotpack deals with more than 1,700 products. The company will soon open new branches in Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Another integrated factory and logistic centre will also be opened soon in Abu Dhabi – ICAD City and one more in Qatar to serve the respective areas,” Abdul Jebbar further said.
