Over the course of three days, food and beverage manufacturers will convene in Dubai to showcase the latest production and packaging solutions from countries around the world in Gulfood Manufacturing, the MEASA (the Middle East, Africa and South Asia) region’s largest and leading food and beverage processing and packaging event.
To be held from 7-9 November, 2023, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), this year’s edition will unveil the next era of food production – from new ingredients and advanced technologies to integrated supply chain solutions and breakthrough developments. The event will feature products, services, and solutions covering five sectors that are expected to move the F&B manufacturing industry forward, including Packaging, Supply Chain Solutions, Ingredients, Processing, and Control and Automation.
This year’s edition promises to be the largest ever, bringing together over 2,000 exhibitors in 69 country pavilions, including some of the biggest global brands in F&B production, besides anticipating a huge global audience of 36,000 industry professionals.
New in 2023
New to the 2023 edition will be some of the industry’s most pressing challenges and latest trends that will be explored. Innovation through alternatives and ingredients will unveil the most cutting-edge ways to enhance animal product alternatives and nutrition. The use of digital technologies such as AI, automation, and robotics to build smarter food factories; issues such as tackling food waste and exploring the latest sustainable solutions and innovations in food preservation; the economics of F&B manufacturing including investment strategies, monetization models, new tax regimes, crisis-proofing, and overall cost mitigation; the use of smarter technology and future-forward solutions; and bringing transparency in food systems by leveraging blockchain, digitalization, and technology, will be the other main areas of focus. Yet another is the evolution of the F&B manufacturing landscape in the Middle East, and the exciting, strategic opportunities and initiatives on offer.
Foodtech Summit
The Foodtech Summit will continue to be a key feature this year too, where over 100 of the industry’s most dynamic and engaging speakers will convene to discuss a powerful agenda ranging from food engineering innovations, metaverse factories of the future, food safety, circular ecosystems, sustainability-linked finance models, and much more. Visitors will have the chance to hear first-hand from a powerful line-up of global speakers including industry leaders, regulatory and policy makers, financial experts, geo-political and risk advisors, investors, and R&D specialists.
Innovation Tours
Visitors to the event will also be able to take part in curated Innovation Tours, giving them the opportunity to see the latest industry innovations, up close and personal, on the show floor.
The event will create a platform for some of the largest companies in the food industry to present their products, services, and solutions to influential buyers from across the globe, creating multiple opportunities to build new professional relationships, strengthen existing ones, and execute high-value deals.

With COP28 just round the corner, Gulfood Manufacturing is set to enhance its long-standing focus on how the F&B manufacturing industry is integrating sustainable practices and processes such as sustainable packaging, reducing food waste, introducing energy efficient machines that minimize carbon footprint, and driving transparency in food production.
