April’s Gulf Print & Pack 2015 is to feature the latest developments in 3D printing after D2M Solutions signed up to have a presence at the show.
3D printing, or additive manufacturing as it is also known, has developed rapidly as a technology in recent times, and is quickly transitioning from a largely business-to-consumer technology to a relevant business-to-business proposition, with opportunities in prototyping and tooling just two of those opening up to the print and packaging industries. Development in materials is also making 3D printing applicable to a wider range of applications, such as production using metals.
The presence of D2M Solutions at Gulf Print & Pack 2015 will allow visitors to the show, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre on April 13-16, to educate themselves on this fast-moving technology and learn more about how such new and emerging print processes and technologies can benefit their businesses. A Smart Mart feature area, showcasing active and interactive print technologies, will provide a further educational opportunity.
Kodak and Giffin Graphics have also signed up as exhibitors at Gulf Print & Pack 2015, joining the likes of Heidelberg, AFRA, Bobst, Green Graphics Trading GMCC, Nilpeter and Prestige Graphics Trading.
Entry to Gulf Print & Pack 2015 is free and pre-registration is possible at http://www.gulfprintpack.com.
