Gallus Celebrates 100 Years with New Experience Center

Switzerland-based Gallus Group, a subsidiary of printing equipment maker Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg), with production facilities in Switzerland and Germany, is a leading company in the development, production, and sale of conventional and digital narrow-web, reel-fed presses designed for the label and packaging business.

Gallus will be celebrating 100 years in business on 19 June, 2023, by officially opening the Gallus Experience Center, a brand new industry hub, at St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Designed to be a central touchpoint for the entire labels and narrow web landscape, the new center is dedicated to facilitating the industry’s future success, fostering collaboration to drive innovation and sustainability, and accelerating the industry’s digital transformation.

Brands, converters, manufacturers, printers, and suppliers can use the new facility to explore and exchange ideas, gain new skills, and to test and develop new technologies and solutions. Additionally, Gallus will use the facility to showcase its conventional, hybrid, and digital products; software and cloud-based solutions; next-generation machines being produced, and supplier partner technologies.

For the first time ever, customers, prospects, and stakeholders from some of the leading printers and converters from around the world have been invited to the Gallus Experience Center, as part of the company’s ‘Gallus Experience Days’ that celebrates ‘Innovation and Collaboration’ from 19-24 June, 2023.

Programmes will feature inspiring keynote presentations on artificial intelligence (AI) and retail strategies from leading experts including published author on AI, international keynote speaker, and marketing consultant with over 30 years of experience in the industry, Katie King, who was named one of the top ten AI influencers this year; and global AI strategist and advisor, private investor, author columnist, explorer, and adventurer Andy Fitze, who is considered a tactical guru and AI influencer.

Invitees will also have the opportunity to attend supplier seminars, breakout sessions from key strategic partners, and tours of the landmark facility. The opening week celebrations will be brought alive with a variety of artistic, musical, and live entertainment programmes, complemented by on-site catering, providing an ideal platform not only to mark Gallus’ centenary milestone, but also to unite minds and voices from the industry. The centenary celebrations will take a brief look back at the last 100 years of the company, as well as providing flavour for the next exciting decades.

Dario Urbinati, CEO, Gallus Group, comments, “We are so excited to invite customers, partners, friends, and colleagues to our Gallus Experience Days. In addition to celebrating our hundredth birthday, we will use the event to demonstrate our vision for the future of labels and packaging, largely centered on a digital transformation by using smart, connected printing to unlock revolutionary levels of production automation and manufacturing efficiencies. Key to solving the labour issues of today, we are also excited to unveil new solutions at the event that will enable customers to reduce costs, increase profitability, and increase sustainability.”
