First Signage Middle East Conference & Awards Announced

International Expo Consults (IEC), part of UAE-based conglomerate Falak Holding and organizers of the annual Sign & Graphic Imaging Exhibition (SGI Dubai 2015), has announced a strategic partnership with UAE-based events and publishing company Enthralogy to host the very first SIGNAGE MIDDLE EAST CONFERENCE and AWARDS.

The inaugural SIGNAGE MIDDLE EAST CONFERENCE, to be held on 10-11 January 2015 in Dubai, will be the region’s first educational and networking platform for signage professionals and enthusiasts to learn about breakthrough technologies, explore new markets and business models, address the most relevant industry issues and exchange ideas.

The SIGNAGE MIDDLE EAST AWARDS and gala dinner on 10 January 2015 will recognize excellence in business leadership through investment in signage innovation, execution, and creativity. The award candidates will be assessed by an independent panel of judges comprising renowned signage industry experts from the Middle East and overseas.  

On signing of the agreement, Mr. AbdulRahman Falaknaz, Chairman of IEC, said, “IEC has been a strong proponent of the signage industry for the past 20 years with the annual SGI exhibition which attracts global signage industry leaders and state-of-the-art technology providers. IEC will host the 18th edition of the Sign & Graphic Imaging Exhibition (SGI Dubai 2015), UAE from 11-13 January 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Over 400 exhibitors from 30 countries and over 10000 trade visitors are expected to participate at the 2015 edition of the show. This is the most anticipated event of the year in the MEASA region (Middle East, Africa and South Asia) with the successful history of creating a great platform for exhibitors and visitors in the signage, digital signage, retail signage solutions, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries.
