Fespa Global Print Expo Highlights Personalisation

FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, and Personalisation Experience are highly anticipated events that will take place from May 23 to 26, 2023, at Messe Munich, Germany. These exhibitions aim to provide visitors from all around the world with fresh insights into the field of specialty print, signage, and visual communications. The events will feature an impressive lineup of over 550 exhibitors, including renowned companies such as AGFA, Aleph, Brother, Canon, Durst, efi, Fujifilm, Hanglory, Hexis, HP, MHM, Mimaki, Ricoh, Roland, Sun Chemical, Surfex, and SwissQprint. Attendees can expect to explore the latest innovations in digital wide format, screen and textile printing, garment decoration, and signage. Exhibitors will highlight the importance of production efficiency, application flexibility, sustainability, and personalization in their showcased technologies and consumables.

One of the exciting additions this year is the Personalisation Experience conference. This conference will offer delegates the opportunity to delve into the psychology and behavioral science behind the appeal of personalization, explore the commercial value it holds, and discover how digital transformation, technology, and software solutions enable customization. The conference will be complemented by an experiential exhibition space where visitors can explore personalization-enabling solutions from suppliers such as Antigro Designer, DreamScape, Infigo, Printbox, and Taopix. Furthermore, visitors will have the chance to engage in the entire process of designing, ordering, and fulfilling personalized products in the dedicated Personalisation Experience Zone.

Michael Ryan, the Head of FESPA Global Print Expo, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The power of a live FESPA event is that, in addition to having access to hundreds of potential suppliers, visitors can also network with like-minded business owners and exchange ideas and experiences to gain valuable new perspectives. With an incredible array of products, a strong lineup of inspirational show features, as well as our new Personalisation Experience, we can’t wait to welcome our international visitor and supplier community in Munich.”

The European Sign Expo, co-located in hall A2, will showcase a range of innovations in signage and visual communications. With over 75 suppliers participating, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in channel lettering, dimensional signage, digital signage, display systems, engraving and etching, illuminated displays, LED, neon, out-of-home media, and sign tools.

Additionally, in hall B2, visitors can explore the Sustainability Spotlight material showcase. This showcase will feature a diverse range of environmentally responsible graphics and textile material samples, including leather and leather alternatives, natural fibers, cellulosics, and synthetics. Accompanying information cards will provide visitors with valuable insights into the sustainable attributes of the substrates and guidance on producing innovative, environmentally-conscious products.

For the first time since 2019, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the shortlisted entries from the FESPA Awards, located in the West Entrance of Messe Munich. With over 210 submissions from 34 countries, the entries have been meticulously judged by an independent panel of experts, and the winners will be announced during a VIP ceremony on May 24.

In hall B2, the winners of the World Wrap Masters Europe qualifying event will compete in the Final on May 25 and 26. These winners will face off against the champions from regional heats held in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, and the UK & Ireland. The Final will feature a series of events that challenge competitors to wrap cars and surprise objects against the clock. Visitors interested in vehicle wrapping can also take advantage of free daily training workshops and demonstrations offered in collaboration with The Wrap Institute.

To help visitors maximise their time at the Munich events, FESPA has invested in a new event app. Downloadable from the App Store and Google Play, the FESPA app helps delegates plan their visit by giving a comprehensive overview of exhibitors and other attendees and the event agenda. In addition, it features a scheduling and personalised diary function for meetings and conference sessions.
