Egypt’s Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) has called on all companies in the sector to participate in the second Arab StarPack Pro Packaging Awards.
The industrial packaging competition is organized jointly by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and LibanPack, the Lebanese Packaging Center, and is endorsed by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO). The last date for submission of entries is 15 September, 2023.
The chamber stated that the objective of Arab StarPack Pro is to increase awareness on current packaging trends from the aspects of marketing, functionality, and sustainability to enable Arab industries to keep up with global packaging trends and to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations in packaging and labelling, with the ultimate goal being to improve competitiveness of Arab products on the global level.
The competition will recognize the best packaging design and innovations in consumer and industrial packaging on the Arab level, highlighting the importance of well-designed packaging as a value addition and a marketing tool to attract consumers.
Fully accredited and recognised by WPO, winners of Arab StarPack Pro awards will be eligible to participate in major international competitions including WorldStar Global Packaging Awards, the largest and most prestigious international packaging awards organized by WPO.
