Nadiam Elias, President of the Chamber of Printing & Packaging Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), revealed the opening of the chamber’s new office in Alexandria Governorate, to provide various services and technical support to member companies located in Lower Egypt.
The new centre will serve about 500 companies in Lower Egypt, especially in the industrial areas of Alexandria, Beheira, Borg El Arab, and others. The aim is primarily to facilitate the smooth functioning and provide support services to printing and packaging companies in the region, without company representatives having to move to Cairo.
Elias added that the chamber has assumed the responsibility of providing services to its affiliate companies using the latest methods in technical assistance and support packages as well as developing manufacturing skills through training programmes in partnership with agencies like the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The chamber also announced a number of new services for its member companies, both large, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in 2023.
