Dubai is hosting PROPAPER Dubai 2022, the professional trade fair for paper, tissue, paperboard, and the packaging and printing industry. The three-day event, organized by Verifair Dubai, is being held at the premium Festival Arena by InterContinental Dubai Festival City from 20-22 September, 2022.
PROPAPER Dubai 2022 has been conceived as a professional destination and vantage point for global and regional paper and tissue industry players to explore, partner, market, and invest to leverage growth from the increasing demand for paper products in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
The forecast for MEA paper and pulp market is in the range of 3-4% CAGR for the next five years. In the post-pandemic scenario, demand for paper products across different categories has been on an upswing across the world, and the Middle East region is no exception. The paper and pulp industry growth is being fueled by rising demand for paper consumables including sanitary paper products, paper packaging products, paper boards etc. Upsurge in demand for cosmetic packaging, rapid urbanization, increasing preference for paper products, the post-pandemic exponential growth in online shopping, and development of new logistics hubs have been the demand drivers.
The show provides a comprehensive platform to connect with over 10,000 professionals in the paper, hygiene tissue, and paperboards industry and meet over 150 world-class manufacturers from Egypt, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Turkey, and the UAE.
The trade fair retains its pomp with the PROPAPER Dubai Awards that recognizes companies and industry stalwarts across ‘Leadership, Sustainability, and Innovation’ to be held at a gala ceremony set amongst a tranquil landscape on the eve of the inaugural day. Amongst the award categories, a very special ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ and ‘Businesswoman of the Year Award’ shall also be selected by a panel of expert judges.
The trade fair promises to be an ideal venue for networking with a comprehensive guest list covering the ‘movers’ and ‘shakers’ of the industry.
A global trade hub and home to the largest number of trade events in the MEA region, Dubai and the UAE keeps a rapid pace in its transformative journey with increased cutting-edge infrastructure facilities, tourist attractions, and regional knowledge hubs in technology, finance, and media.
