Copatra Appointed as Official Distributor For DGI in GCC

Copatra Graphics has been assigned as the official agent for DGI in GCC. The company had a line up of DGI products at the recently concluded SGI exhibition. Yasser Anan, Company’s CEO said that Copatra Graphics is now looking forward to expand to other countries in GCC. “We have been quite successful in Saudi Arabia market, so the new management decided to capitalize on this successful experience and expand to neighbouring countries. We have been assigned as DGI distributor in GCC and are also the agent of AGFA’s Jeti line of printers in KSA. There is no doubt that Saudi is the biggest market in the region, however other countries such as Qatar and UAE are also very dynamic and lucrative and we want to be more involved in these markets.”

During the Sign and Graphic Imaging exhibition, the company had on stand wide format roll to roll, as well as flatbed printers plus CNC router machines. They also had the VE 3204D from Velajet series as well as PQ-3204 from POLAJET series. Both printers are manufactured by Korean manufacturer DGI.  Ayman Sewaidan, Copatra Graphics operations manager explains the concept. “We have brought roll to roll as well as flatbed printers to the show so customers can experience different applications. Also our COPACOM CNC router is ideal for creating 3D signage.” 

Talking about Copatra, Yasser Anan said, “We have all the elements to offer top notch services to our customers. We have spare parts stock as well as trained engineers who can assist our customers 24/7. This is our strength. We are the second generation in Copatra graphics that are restructuring the operations. My father Zaki Anan and my uncle Ahmed Anan are the first generation who founded Anan United holding, more than 40 years ago. Copatra Graphics, which is part of the holding is also benefitting from the rich heritage that our founders left us.”
