Control P, a Qatar based printing company inked the deal with Agfa Graphics for a :Jeti 3020 Titan press. The deal was finalized by Mahmoud Darwish, General Manager of the company with AGFA, during the recently concluded SGI 2013 that was held in Dubai. According to him the printer fits perfectly into Control P’s already diverse production structure, as it is designed to handle heavy workloads 24/7, producing high resolution output on flatbed and roll-to-roll modes.
He added, “The Titan will automatically become a constituent element of demanding multi application environments. With the new Titan, Control P expects to lead the local print market in Qatar across several industry sectors, thanks to the 20 head CMYK configuration and the highly opaque white ink feature in the machine. The Agfa :Jeti 3020 Titan is a top of the game product, and for this reason we are confident of an unbeatable return on our investment.”
At the show Agfa Graphics demonstrated their UV inkjet solutions such as the :Jeti 3020 Titan, :Anapurna M2540 FB, :Anapurna 2050 and the :Jeti 3324 solvent printer. The :Jeti 3020 Titan UV inkjet printer with flat to roll option can deliver 1200 dpi resolution. It produces photorealistic image quality and can handle rolls up to 340 kg. The Titan range starts with 16 head option and can accommodate up to 48 heads. In Dubai, Agfa Graphics had shown the: Jeti Titan 16 colour head combination with additional 4 white-ink heads.
