In one of the biggest single deal on Latex printers in the Middle East, Caravan Industries in Saudi Arabia placed an order with Dynagraph for four HP latex 3000 wide format printers. The deal which was announced during recently held FESPA in London puts the Caravan Industries at forefront of green printing initiatives in Saudi Arabia.
The company is one of the biggest large format printing operations in the Gulf region and a signage production power house in Saudi Arabia. The wide range of company’s offerings includes indoor and outdoor signs, fleet graphics, traditional signs, neon signs, street furniture and display systems.
Nasser Al Ras, owner of Caravan Industries in an exclusive interview with ME Printer said that the deal reflects company’s commitment to offer its customers the best quality using the latest technology in wide format printing. “The new printers extend our leading position as a modern and environmentally conscious company. Currently we are going through an aggressive modernization process during which our older generation equipment will be replaced by new and eco friendly equipment. On the other hand in order to streamline our operations we have decided to concentrate on fewer brands rather than dealing with a string of manufacturers.”
Nasser is also very satisfied with the HP after sale services: “HP has always provided us with excellent technical support and maintenance services through its local agent Dynagraph”.
Other than increasing demand for more green products the booming advertising industry is also giving Caravan Industries incentive to invest in new equipment.
“Saudi printing market is booming largely thanks to the mega projects launched by the government. This unprecedented trend has been very positive for our growth and balance sheet. We have enjoyed growth rate of 20% “.
According to Nasser, Ramadan is a blessing for signage business as well: “During Ramadan we experience a boom in our business. Ad spend especially within food sector increases dramatically. We are working 24/7 with full capacity to ensure on time delivery.”
Last but not least the boom is luring Caravan Industries to expand operation and investment. “We plan to invest in additional 4 large format printers and move to our 30 thousand square meters facility by the end of the year. This is a huge step forward for us,” concludes Nasser.
