Several factors contributed to the success of Canon’s imagePROGRAF range in the awards. In particular, BLI commented on the ‘flawless reliability performance’ and ‘outstanding productivity’ of the devices, as well as praising the ease of use of the on-the-fly ink replacement design of the devices and the consistent quality of the print across various paper types. BLI also praised the innovative design of the workflows for using the device, including the ability to print from mobile devices and sharing and printing files directly from the cloud – which is particularly useful for engineering and technical design professionals.
