Stora Enso Packaging, a corrugated packaging supplier with multiple converting sites across Sweden, has seen its production capacity increase by 4.4% and production efficiency by 3.3% with BOBST Connect, a cloud-based digital platform that enhances and improves printing and packaging productivity.
Stora Enso Packaging’s two converting plants in Jönköping and Skene, work closely together to produce consumer packaging, transport packaging, grouped and retail-ready packaging, and corrugated sheets. Its Jönköping site is equipped with advanced machinery from BOBST, including two MASTERCUT 2.1 flatbed die-cutters and two MASTERFLEX flexo post-printing presses.
Alongside machinery and the integration of BOBST Connect, the partnership also includes customised training and comprehensive machine support. The BOBST Connect platform generates real-time production data to empower Stora Enso’s teams with critical machine insights for optimal performance and informed decision-making. Alongside this, BOBST has also supplied bespoke training to upskill Stora Enso’s production team and provides proactive maintenance and support through the BOBST Maintenance Plus plan.
