The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre at the Department of Culture and Tourism is organizing the 12th edition of the Al Ain Book Fair at Zayed Central Library, the largest public library in Al Ain.
The exhibition will be held from September 21-30, under the patronage of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain region.
The exhibition comes in the form of a hybrid that combines reality programmes and virtual broadcasts on the exhibition’s digital platforms. The book fair is expecting a larger audience to attend and participate in the exhibition’s activities.
More than 100 exhibitors and publishing houses will participate in this year’s edition, introducing the public to several of the latest literary publications that would meet the aspirations and tastes of avid readers of different interests and age groups.
The exhibition will also host 50 speakers from prominent Emirati cultural figures, writers, creators, and artists to shed light on the rich cultural heritage of the UAE during the past fifty years.
