According to the company, the new desktop printers require no set-up and is an enclosed machine that allows consumers to create thousands of items from bowls and cups to key chains and smartphone cases.
XYZprinting chairman Simon Shen said, “With da Vinci printers we are moving 3D printing to the mainstream market by satisfying a need in the consumer and business segment for a 3D printer that delivers on affordability and usability.”
PRECISE Group will be distributing the product through its regional retail partner Virgin Megastore. The printers will also be available for purchase online.

The da Vinci 1.0 retail price is US$951.50 and da Vinci 2. 0 is priced at US$1,223.75 and comes with one-year warranty.
