German multinational corporation and one of the world’s largest sportswear manufacturer Adidas recently inaugurated a running track in the arrivals area of the lively Terminal 3 of Dubai International (DXB), the world’s busiest airport for international passengers.
The exciting new initiative of Adidas at DXB, also partnered by France-based JCDecaux – the largest out-of-home (OOH) advertising company and the only international player in the Middle East, found an engaging and fun way of actively encouraging travellers to stretch their legs after a long-haul flight and walk along the race track, instead of opting for travelators.
To keep it more interesting, Adidas will also reward those who hit the track with complimentary sneaker customization at its flagship store located in the Dubai Mall. Also, keeping in tune with the company’s mission to promote sustainability with a holistic approach, the track is laid using 100% sustainable material.
The innovative concept is in line with Dubai’s efforts to support the vision of being the most active city in the world by promoting fitness and wellbeing as part of it.
