Paper ME 2012 Displayed a Glimpse of Market Potential in The Country
Paper ME 2012, which took place between 8th to 10th of November 2012 at Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Centre, witnessed the participation of more than 190 companies from more than 28 countries.
The exhibition attracted more than 9000 visitors from countries such as Germany, China, India, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Austria, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
Paper ME 2012, for the first time, was sponsored by Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), which is the 2nd largest paper manufacturer and supplier in the world and Asia’s number one paper manufacturer and supplier.
Exhibitors at Paper ME 2012 claimed that they were able to effectively achieve their objectives through the exhibition. According to post show reports, exhibitors were able to widen their business networks, meet decision makers, attract new customers and clinch deals during and after the show. The exhibition showcased latest products and developments in paper machinery, cardboard, tissue and packaging. Exhibitors expressed their satisfaction on the excellent turnout of visitors and the opportunity to reach out to one of the most important markets in the world.
The event, this year, was held under the patronage of various government departments and institutions including the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Council of Arab Unity and the Economic Arab Union Paper Industry and Packaging along with the Export Council for Chemical Industries. Next year, Paper ME is scheduled to be held from 7th to 9th of November 2013.
