Konica Minolta Holds Distributors Workshop

The workshop was held under a collaboration between Konica Minolta and Juma Al Majid

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Middle East organised a two-day Sales Workshop at its UAE distributor Juma Al Majid’s office in Dubai to further enhance their partners’ knowledge about the commercial and industrial segments of the printing business. The workshop discussed best industry practices in production and industrial Print, market insights, new technologies as well as the high standards that are associated with Konica Minolta’s global strategy.

The workshop is a crucial part of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Middle East efforts to encourage market education within the print ecosystem in the region. Kazuo Kobayashi, Managing Director of Konica Minolta, lead the workshop and spoke about Konica Minolta’s global direction. The interactive presentation provided the attendees with an insight into company’s global branding perspective and future roadmap.

Kobayashi was followed by a number of other speakers including Hideaki Suzuki, General Manager, Nayyar Ansari, the Business Development Manager, and Sami Nimri, Technical Service Manager at Konica Minolta amongst others. Guest speaker Mr.Yasunori Meguro from Konica Minolta Inc. educated the attendees about the Industrial Business focusing on Label Printer Accurio Label 190. Ganapathy Jayaprakash of Juma Al Majid talked about MGI Embellishment Applications for short-run packaging and other commercial applications adding value to the print.

The workshop also featured exclusive demonstrations of Konica Minolta products including the recently launched AccurioPress C6100 with Intelligent Quality Optimizer (IQ-501) equipped with inline Spectrophotometer, which streamlines the printer’s workflow by allowing automated colour consistency and front to back registration adjustment prior to print production. The participants were extremely impressed with the capabilities of the (IQ-501) and how it can reduce the set-up time for the printer, automatically making adjustments on the density, tone, colour and front-to-back registration, that have previously been made manually.

This significantly helps reduce the time consumed for the adjustments and contributes to operation rate of the printing machine and also to shorter turnaround, enabling stable delivery and high-quality print products. There was also Demonstration on AccurioPro Solutions covering scope from Pre-Press Applications to Job and Device Management that would enhance efficiency for Professional Printers.
