D2M To highlight 3D Printing From Stratasys During Arabplast 2015

D2M Solutions FZE., will highlight the way that plastic forming industries can leverage 3D printing to cut overall costs and rapidly create 3D printed molds and plastic products, at their booth in Arabplast 2015, coming in January 10-13 at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.

D2M Solutions FZE will be showcasing the very latest ways that 3D printing can impact the competitiveness and speed to market of companies involved with the manufacture of plastic products including: injection molded, blow molded and thermo formed products, for which molds can now be 3D printed for short runs or prototype molds. This new way of creating very cost effective molds on-demand, makes huge cost and time savings from the overall production cost, and can help protect intellectual property by keeping the design data in-house. Companies using 3D printing have recorded up to 97% decrease on the time needed to create prototype molds, and D2M is convinced that 3D printing can play an important part in the production process of plastics manufacturing in the Middle East due to the way this technology is revolutionizing the sector.

3D printing provides a real and cost-effective alternative for low volume manufacturing when unique, 10s, 100s to a few 1,000 pieces are required and it also makes sense to create fully functioning prototype models, for form, fit and functional testing for which traditional manufacturing methods are often prohibitively expensive. Therefore 3D printing is an ideal way for regional entrepreneurs to fast-track their product development process and create local manufacturing industries that no longer require the traditional factory production line.

For companies wanting to outsource their professional 3D needs, D2M Solutions will be introducing its 3D printing services division, Paradigm 3D that can take on any bespoke needs for design through to manufacturing.
