FESPA 2013 Readies For Launch

The catch word for ‘FESPA 2013’ will be ‘Your Destination for Print’ and will be held from 25 -29 June 2013 at ExCeL London. “FESPA 2013 is the only global print event in 2013, so it would be the most preferred destination for print business owners and managers,” says FESPA Managing Director Neil Felton.

“With its specialist focus, FESPA is the perfect opportunity for established screen and wide format digital printers to update their knowledge and identify new paths for profitable growth. And for commercial offset or digital printers looking for complementary revenue streams, it’s the obvious environment in which to focus on the wide format opportunity and access a world of expertise under one roof.”

Visitors to FESPA 2013 will see the whole gamut of specialist print, encompassing graphics and retail print, outdoor and indoor advertising, signage, interior and architectural decor, industrial print, promo wear and promotional print, packaging and labelling, fashion garments, textiles and garment decoration.

“Wherever you are in the world, our compelling content – combined with this amazing city and venue – makes FESPA London 2013 next year’s unmissable business trip.”

FESPA FABRIC 2013

The show within the ‘show’, FESPA FABRIC 2013 will be part of FESPA 2013 and will take place at the same venue from 25 to 29 June 2013. Visitors will benefit from both practical and theoretical sessions including workshops, seminars and live demonstrations. There will also be a host of networking opportunities with industry peers, allowing printers to gain access to some of the biggest brands in promo, sportswear and garment printing.

Printers, textile print professionals, retailers and apparel brands will be able to meet with key industry exhibitors and experience a broad spectrum of state-of-the-art machinery, techniques, applications and solutions at the show. With a floor space of approximately 12,000m2, FESPA Fabric will cover digital direct-to-garment, screen printing, embroidery, promotional products and other garment decoration processes.

The Promotional Products Business Academy and the successful Pilot’s Briefing Zone would be some of the highlights of the show. Kornit Digital will be for the fourth time the Corporate Sponsor for the show.

FESPA Managing Director, Neil Felton comments: “Incorporating FESPA Fabric into the main show at FESPA Digital 2012 was the right move for our visitors and we will keep this winning format for FESPA 2013. Our aim is to create a positive environment to motivate printers, garment decorators and other garment industry suppliers to discover how garment innovation could help drive their business forward and unlock new sources of revenue. With a packed programme of workshops, live demonstrations, seminars and industry leading exhibitors, I’m certain there will be plenty of new inspiration for visitors to draw from.”

Hall of Fame For Printers

FESPA is inviting printers, manufacturers, suppliers and print buyers and end users to nominate print solution providers (PSPs) into the FESPA Hall of Fame 2013. The Hall of Fame, first seen at FESPA Digital 2012 is attended by the ‘who’s who’ of the global print community. The event will be held at the last day of FESPA 2013, where the overall Global Printer of the Year, along with the top five printers in each country will be announced.

FESPA is encouraging the print industry to start nominating colleagues, who they feel deserve to be recognised and rewarded for their excellence. Printers can be nominated for having pioneered a new approach or technology, or demonstrated innovation in other ways. They may stand out on print skill or service for a leading stance on sustainability, or have made some other significant contribution to the industry.

The winners will be given a chance to network with like-minded innovative entrepreneurs, and will also receive VIP invitations to FESPA global events as well as discounted conference or summit delegate places. In addition they will gain positive media coverage for their business.

Nominations will run until 21st January 2013, the global community will then be able to vote for their favourite ‘print hero’ until May 31st 2013. The five winners and top five nominees per country will be announced at FESPA 2013 on June 26th 2013 at an Awards Gala Dinner.
